1) What is Jukado?

The mission of Jukado is to ensure that our students attain martial art skills for life-long learning. Not just in the dojo, but in all aspects of their lives: home, school, work and in the community.


1) Jukado is a combination of Kung Fu, Karate, Aikido and Judo. It focuses on Martial Arts Training for Real Life Situations™. Jukado combines hand and foot blows, stylized holds and locks, hip throwing techniques and forms using inner circle movements. Emphasis is not placed on size and strength but rather on technique. Training focuses on pressure points and strike positions.
2) Are there contracts or testing fees for belts?

We offer family discounts for mulitple family members within the same household.


2) Jukado does not charge a testing fee for Colored Belt (Kyu Ranks)nor do we have contracts. Students are only charged a small fee to offset the cost of the belt when a promotion has been earned.
3) How big is the facility?

Visitors are welcome at any time to our Family Martial Arts and Fitness Center.


3) Our 8,000 square foot facility consists of two dojos, a complete workout and fitness area, two locker rooms and a children's play area. We are located on the second floor of the Dana Warp Mill building, 90 Bridge Street in Westbrook.
